I started this website as I had tried a number of deodorant products and found them pretty useless. Unfortunately I am very unwell and one of my symptoms is excessive sweating. Yes it is embarrassing but also very difficult to live with. To make matters worse I am unable to take a bath so I shower often. I tried some heavy duty deodorants which leave a film over your skin and block the poors but it was very uncomfortable so I went looking for alternatives. I still sweat, as I consider it very unhealthy to continually block the pores (which is how anti-persparants work!) but I do not smell.

I suppose we have all seen the adverts saying how long you are protected but I can tell you that I sometimes forget to put deodorant on. When I have been using Alvin Connor's products it doesn't matter as they seem to last longer than 24 hours but when I use other porducts I need to use them twice a day. OK this is because of my poor health & Hyperhydrosis but it shows how well these things work. I can promise you that if they work on me they will work well on virtually anybody.

Needless to say these products are great for even the most sensitive skin. To be honest I find that most of the deodorants that I used, before I used crystal deodorant, left me stinging and even caused a rash. This doesn't happen with Alvin's. I do have to be careful when using the stick as I am very clumsy and can rub myself too hard but even when I do it is not as bad as with other products.

They are just so much better that I think that spending cash on the others is a complete waste of time - sorry if this seems to be a bold statement but it is my belief that the others are crap by comparison ;-)
